Today was the first day of school. Tonight's homework was for my student's to give their parents homework! They were pretty excited about that assignment. What an awesome website! Eric came home really excited about starting the 3rd grade which made me so happy to hear! He definitely was thrilled with the idea that "mommy has homework!" :)

My wife did the homework Eric brought home. I haven't checked it yet, but she's usually pretty good about proofreading, so I trust her. If she made any mistakes, you're welcome to send more homework for her to practice. She has lots of free time on her hands anyway. We are looking forward to this year. Thanks for making this resource available!
Today was great... I think everyone was excited about school starting, especially the parents :). The first thing Keyanna said to me when I picked her up with a giggle was, "Mommy guess what? You have homework!!!

I have great ideas for this blog. It is a wonderful tool for families and students. I look forward to using it to build a sense of "community" in our classroom as we post work and pictures of events during the year.
Zorah had a great day today. She was so excited and soon as I picked her up from extended day she says "Mom you have homework",gave gave me the folder before I left the parking lot. So my homework is done.
Arryon had a great first day of school. She said it was funny that I had homework.
I will give Arryon her treat tomorrow! :) I am so glad that she enjoyed her day!
