Is everyone ready for a new school year to start? I sure am! I have some exciting news to share with all of my third grade friends...... I have been super busy this past summer and have made the switch to teach 4th grade! I know that this blog has been a great resource to a lot of third grade friends. I am going to keep it linked up to my new class blog so that it may be used as a resource. There are too many good things on here to just go dump it!
I would love for you guys to come follow our exciting class over at 4thgradesahoot.blogspot.com! Let me warn you now that the blog is not up to my own standards. It will be ready soon. My classroom is ready and lesson plans are done! :)
See you in 4th Grade....

International Cultural Fair
Chimney Lakes Elementary hosted its annual International Cultural Fair last Friday! The day started out with a parade with students dressing in authentic dress. There was a dragon, drums, and even our own Charlie the Cheetah! After the parade our class traveled all over the world. We filled our passports up with lots of visas! We enjoyed touring countries and learning the culture. We even were able to sample foods at lunch from different countries! It was an amazing day!
Here are a few pictures from the day!

- Bring a lunch and drink.
- Put your lunch & drink in the plastic bag provided and label the bag with your name!
- Dress appropriately for the weather.
- Have a GREAT attitude!
